Below are the 18 of the Most Profitable Amazon Products. For this analysis, we looked only to Amazon FBA Sellers within the US Marketplace. The top producer in this list is generates a jaw-dropping $11 million per month. It’s estimated this amounts to roughly $300k a per day in profit.
Are the items below a product of hard work, dedication and a mastery of Amazon’s platform? Or can they be more attributed to dumb luck and fortunate timing? We haven’t done a deep dive per listing and can’t answer this question.
We do know, however, that the FBA products below offer great insights into the potential on Amazon. Some of the noted items are fairly new concepts, like weighted blankets and paddle boards. Five years ago these didn’t exist on mainstream marketplaces. Today, they’re among the most profitable Amazon products.

Look past the item itself to evaluate the market size, demographic, product qualities, and the listing itself.

We were amazed to see the number of essential oils among the most profitable products on Amazon. This chamomile flavor (wait, that doesn’t seem right)… variation, is just one of numerous types of oil pulling in millions on Amazon. Please click through and view the item. The Amazon FBA listing has one image and no A+ content. It has to be the least optimized yet most profitable product in the history of e-commerce. Congratulations to this Amazon FBA Seller. This product seems to fill all of the checkboxes when looking for a winning product. It’s small, so minimizes storage and shipping costs. It’s presumably very cheap to manufacture. It’s ripe for repeat customer and it’s likely buyers will opt in for repeat purchases. Bed sheets were a common item on the Most Profitable Amazon Products list. You’ll find countless variations raking in millions per month. We had no idea that this was such a hot commodity. Again, this product has the benefits of a slightly smaller size, low cost, and massive market size. Barriers to entry seem to be minimal, so likely not a lot of potential for new sellers. We constantly see “the pillow guy” advertising on mainstream networks. Given the numbers found on Viral Launch, it’s no wonder. People love pillows. Personally, we’re not updating pillows very often but suppose we’re in the minority. Pillows will take up a bit more space in your dedicated Amazon FBA space, but with the turnover seen above it doesn’t seem to be an issue for these guys. This could potentially be a “flash in the pan” type product. A quick looks at Google Trends shows interest in this topic is just about at its peak. Although, it’s been a consistent growth over the past five years so could potentially have legs. A look at our profile pic will show that we haven’t been buying from these guys. This might be the riskiest product found on our Most Profitable Amazon Products List. It’s incredibly bulky and we’re amazed to see the millions of dollars in sales generated above. The devoted space in Amazon’s warehouse must be massive. In the rack space needed to hold one weight bench, you could fit hundreds of the smaller products noted above. This is another “high risk” product given the size. Additionally, this Amazon FBA seller faces the risk of broken product. Every FBA Seller knows that Amazon frequently breaks items. There’s also the risk associated with delivery. On a 95 degree day, the delivery guy wants to put this bulky item down as fast as possible and might not be as gentle as hoped in doing so. The “Home and Kitchen” category is on fire this year. People are stranded and devoting much more time to domestic activities. It’s no wonder this product is blowing up. Like the two items above, there’s higher costs and greater risk of items breaking. It’s also likely that potential consumers are partial to brands with higher-priced products like this one. Everyone has heard of the Robovac and it seems everyone is now buying them on Amazon. This hugely successful product is in most big-box retailers and we’re not surprised to see it here as well. There may or may not be potential here to compete on price here. We haven’t done the research. It’s definitely not a product for first-time sellers for obvious reasons. The Fitness category is another benefiting from recent events. Gyms are closed and people are looking for alternatives. Fitbit is a huge name in the industry and we’re curious how partial consumers are to the brand given the many alternatives on the market. Given the relatively low price of this item, though, there would have to be some significant product differentiation to compete in this space. This item may have the most potential of all listed on our Most Profitable Amazon Products List. The market is massive and this particular brand doesn’t seem to have significant brand recognition. We could be completely wrong on this and it’s obvious from the mess on top of our heads. It’s not obvious how much space an inflatable paddle board takes, but we’re guessing it’s not trivial. We’re not advising anyone to compete here that doesn’t already have a paddle board operation. But, it’s a good proxy for other outdoor physical activities. The space is ripe for new products or variations on existing success stories. Anything with the keyword “weighted” in its title should throw up big red flags. Interest for weighted blankets peaked in late 2019. There’s obviously still a market, though, and we’re staying far away from it. We’ve heard from one-too-many sellers that have tens of thousands of pounds of these products in storage. The Amazon FBA program requires health and wellness products to pass certain criteria, particularly given recent events. We’re not sure whether this item is included in that scrutiny nor how rigorous the approval process. The benefit of passing these hurdles is the inherent barrier to entry. This (or similar) was recently on Shark Tank. We’d never heard of it prior to this debut and guessing that gave it the boost necessary to adorn our Most Profitable Amazon Products List. It’s likely an extremely difficult market to enter given the complexity, size, cost, and branding issues. We’re also curious how well it works with the weighted blanket above. This is another item we’d consider as having strong potential. Everyone has windows (hopefully) and needs curtains at some point. More importantly, though, is there is obvious potential for product differentiation. Curtains can be any variation of color, pattern or even theme. There’s also sizing issues. Yeti broke onto the scene recently. At least, we think it did. We’re not particularly hip, so maybe it’s been around a while. Like Starbucks, it created a completely new niche of product. Sure Yeti mugs are better than Contigo or others. But are they 5x better? Nope. People buy these at least partly as a status symbol.
